Dancing Bear Lodge and Restaurant Not Operating Due To Fire
We were saddened by the fire in November of 2013 (View Video), but thankful that no one was hurt or injured.
Dancing Bear Lodge and Restaurant to be Rebuilt during 2015
The new owners, Mark and Sharon Oldham, have plans to rebuild the lodge and restaurant in 2015 (View Current Architect Drawings).
For new reservations, your cabin will be stocked for a gourmet continental breakfast which includes house made granola, premium OJ, Greek yogurt and Starbucks coffee. Due to the fire, our restaurant and Lodge are not currently operating, so there is no restaurant dining on site. However, many of our cabins have small kitchens, and grills are now available for guests to rent. For a $20/night fee, we will set up and provide the grill, charcoal, and cooking tongs. The fee also includes cleanup.
Townsend offers some nearby dining options, as well.
